Home burglaries have risen 12% in the past 12 months in WA, and business robberies have jumped 50%, driving a surging demand for gated estates. National Lifestyle Villages, which also targets the retirement market, has built nine villages in WA since 2000. Last year they built 200 homes alone, priced between $250K and $380K.
