NSW based IRT, with 2,100 staff providing in-home care, aged care and retirement village services in NSW, ACT and soon in Queensland, has announced an increase in revenue by 3% to $135 million and a surplus of $15 million. One third of their operational surplus is now invested in benevolent activities with a target $10 million by 2015. They have committed $105 million in capital programs over the next five years in their home base town of Wollongong plus a $75 million investment in Queensland, acquiring three properties and plans to build a fourth at Kawana Forest.
