Australia’s top region searches across Australia

For the month of March the Inner West of Sydney was the most searched region in Australia for a retirement village on villages.com.au. Aevum’s Cardinal Freeman village at Ashfield was the main beneficiary, with 2367 separate people viewing its listing within search. In fact the first five villages were all in Sydney. No. 6 was aveo's Albany Creek in Brisbane while No. 7 was the St Ives Group’s Ocean Gardens Village in Perth. Interestingly Queensland only hit the chart at No. 9, and more interestingly the first lifestyle village, Beachmere Sands on the border of Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, scraped in at No. 10. This would appear to confirm what most salespeople say, being that today’s market is ‘needs’ driven, not ‘lifestyle’ driven. See next chart.
