BaptistCare NSW & ACT will buy The Grange Lifestyle Village in Wagga Wagga, 452km southwest of Sydney’s CBD, which has extra land for future development.

The Grange Lifestyle Village was built and owned by local builders Nash Brothers. It was operated by RSL Lifecare.

The village will be the second BaptistCare NSW & ACT owns and operates in the Riverina region, alongside Watermark Village, and is the organisation’s 11th village across NSW and the ACT.

The Grange Lifestyle Village is on 20.51 hectares and has 159 independent living villas. BaptistCare NSW & ACT will take over operation of the village in mid-March. The site has development approval for 196 detached dwellings.

“The Grange Lifestyle Village joins BaptistCare’s comprehensive suite of services in the Riverina region, including our 200 strong team providing aged care at Caloola Centre, home care services, respite care at Towner House, as well as Watermark Village and our HopeStreet caseworker providing support to people living with disadvantage,” said BaptistCare NSW & ACT CEO Charles Moore.

The CEO added that he is looking to expand its services within geographical clusters to enhance the continuum of care journey for residents.
