Mercy Health reveals plans for $44 million retirement village at Bendigo aged care home

The Catholic not-for-profit provider has lodged a planning application to build up to 176 retirement living units on vacant land at its re-developed Bethlehem Home for the Aged in Bendigo.

The development would include one and two bedroom units to be completed in eight stages over 10 years.

The Not For Profit, which specialises in acquiring rural and regional care home, announced this morning it will take ownership of several sites from the health and community arm of UnitingCare Queensland.
