The Australian is reporting the VIC Not For Profit is believed to be purchasing a swag of nursing homes from the industry veteran.

His family company Croft Developments is well-known for its construction of aged care facilities throughout VIC, NSW, QLD and the ACT.

Both parties have stayed tight-lipped on the speculation, but we reported here last month that Royal Freemasons had committed to 840 new beds across six aged care homes in regional VIC in the next two-and-a-half years.

At the time, CEO Felix Pintado said the new developments – which would bring its bed numbers up to nearly 2,000 in 17 locations – would set the foundation for its next step as a sector leader.
