1 min read

The Not For Profit has announced a two-stage development to add 40 independent living units to its Kintyre Living Retirement Village in the regional NSW city, 392km northwest of Sydney's CBD.

The first stage of expanding Kintyre Living Retirement Village's $25 million expansion is scheduled for completion by the third quarter of 2026, with new residents expected to move in soon after. The second stage is set to be finished in the second half of 2027.

"For nearly 10-years, Kintrye Living has been so much more than just a place to live. It's a community where neighbours become friends and take part in a range of activities and events," BaptistCare Regional Manager Steve Lind said.

"It is wonderful to be here today and mark the start of the next chapter for the site."

20 current residents joined Dubbo Regional Council Mayor Joshua Black, BaptistCare representatives, and North Richmond Construction representatives for the announcement, with resident Juliette O'Sullivan joining in the sod turning.
