A $160 million development by Pariter to build six independent living buildings at Cumberland Golf Club in Greystanes, 25km west of Sydney’s CBD, has received planning approval. Aimed at securing the club’s financial future, the project is the seventh to be approved under the NSW Government's Significant Development planning pathway since its launch in November 2021.

Designed by Marchese Partners | Life3A, the development includes:

  • Six independent living buildings (five to seven storeys) with 234 units
  • A three-storey residential care facility with 38 beds, a café, health, wellness, and consulting rooms
  • A new three-storey golf clubhouse, ancillary facilities, parking areas, and modifications to the existing course

The project comprises 13 one-bedroom, 127 two-bedroom, and 94 three-bedroom apartments. It was open for public exhibition from 23 April to 21 May 2024.

“This is more than just a development – it’s a shared commitment to delivering quality, wellness-focused living that enhances the legacy of Cumberland Country Golf Club,” said Vanessa Hammer, Development Director at Pariter. “We’re creating a thoughtfully designed community where residents will enjoy the benefits of connected, active lifestyles, right at the heart of an established golf and social community.”

This initiative is one of three retirement living projects currently being undertaken by Pariter, a development platform launched by global investment firm Plenary to partner with community organisations and clubs across Australia, delivering projects that generate returns to reinvest in local facilities.
