The leading land lease operator, which owns and operates 58 communities in NSW, QLD and SA, has approval to expand one of its existing communities, Teraglin Lakeshore, in Chain Valley Bay, 116km north of Sydney. 

Central Coast Council last month gave approval for the private operator to add 73 additional dwelling sites and new communal amenities at the popular community.

"The new community facilities, which are located on the shoreline overlooking Lake Macquarie include a clubhouse, lawn bowling green, sports bar, gym, and library, are going to be a great improvement for the existing residents,” said Kevin Tucker, Hometown Australia Joint Managing Director and CEO. 

"There's not many communities in Australia, new or old, that have these lakefront type amenities."
