In two weeks 33% of Stage 1 homes under contract as GemLife unveils new house style for flagship resort in Moreton Bay, QLD

Six new house designs have been unveiled for the Over 50s land lease community on almost 150ha of land bordering Deception Bay Conservation Park, near the towns of Redcliffe and Scarborough in QLD’s Moreton Bay.

The Stage 1 of 83 homes went on market two weeks ago and 33% are under contract or on hold.

“Because of the unbeatable green space at GemLife Moreton Bay, which means all homes have no rear neighbours, our team has worked hard to harmoniously integrate this special aspect of the resort into the home designs,” GemLife Director and CEO (Chief Executive Officer) Adrian Puljich said.

All the homes feature two bedrooms plus a multipurpose room and between 227.09sqm and 249.03sqm of living space. There will be slatted rear fences that allow homeowners to look out at the beautiful green views from their alfresco areas.

"By extending the line of sight, this will really add a sense of space and connection to nature,” GemLife Manager of Interior Design Jennifer Kyle said.

“For the first time, we’ve included a few home designs with side entries. These have a nice screening effect and pergola for added privacy.”

GemLife Moreton Bay homes will be seven-star energy rated. The resort will have a Virtual Power Plant (VPP) system which includes a network of homes and community facilities with rooftop solar plus a bank of commercial grade batteries connected via smart AI-driven technology.

Capable of predicting the demand for energy use by monitoring weather conditions and best charge times, the VPP helps reduce homeowners’ power costs and protects them from the volatile energy market.
