CPI: Living costs for aged pensioners are outstripping the CPI

Sky rocketing utility bills, high fruit and vegetable prices and bigger medical costs are taking a toll on pensioners. According to the latest figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics seniors got thumped with a 3.1% rise. The official CPI grew 2.7 per cent.
