The Not For Profit wants to build 47 new single-storey independent living units and a new community centre (pictured below) at the existing facility, which sits on 44,000sqm of land.
The redevelopment would replace 28 existing older units. BaptistCare Maranoa Retirement Village consists of the 28 older units, 12 newer units which were opened in 2018 and a 90-bed residential aged care facility.
The next proposed stage in the redevelopment of Maranoa Village is another 64-bed, two-storey residential aged care facility.
