1 min read

A total of 609 piles, which equates to more than 7.8km, exceeding the height equivalent of 24 Q1 towers (the tallest tower on the Gold Coast), have been installed for sector innovator Phil Usher’s second venture.

Odyssey delivers private aged care under the Retirement Village Act. Chevron Island is its second development with approximately 85 apartments ranging n price form $650K to $7.5M.

“Milestones such as this represent a substantial stride in the right direction for Odyssey,” Odyssey Development Manager George Bryan said. The builder is Multiplex.

With a mixture of one-, two- and three-bedroom residences with additional penthouse options available, Odyssey Chevron Island is scheduled for completion in 2025.

The Odyssey Founder and CEO said the level on interest they have received since announcing the new community has been remarkable, with a number of apartments already accounted for.

“Several residences have already been secured by forward-thinking individuals who recognise the unparalleled lifestyle and care opportunities offered by our community,” said Phil.

“The most sought-after options have been the penthouses, the two-bedroom apartments as well as the north and northeast facing residences, both proving to be particularly popular among the senior cohort.”
