With more than 70% of the 50 apartments sold – including all of the Level 4 penthouses, which reached a top price of $3.65 million – the Buxton family's latest retirement village remains on track for completion in October.
Richard Buxton, Executive Chairman of Buxton Group and OnetoAnother, has released a video tour of the project, offering prospective residents a glimpse inside the boutique community 16km south of Melbourne’s CBD. See below.
"We keep the purchasers engaged throughout construction through monthly updates where we share progress photos (from the construction team) and commentary about what's going on and coming up and we do the update videos about every four months," said a spokesperson.
Remaining apartments at The Trentham are priced between $1.35 million and $3.3 million.
The Buxton family re-entered the retirement living sector in 2012, re-acquiring The Crescent retirement village in Brighton, 11km southeast of the Melbourne CBD, from Aveo Group. In 2019, the Buxton Group completed its second 35-apartment development, The Granton, also in Brighton.
