What’s happening! Kingsley Andrew’s 272-home land lease community approved in under four months

1 min read

As part of Oceane, former Stockland executive Kingsley Andrew’s first master planned community in South Australia, Kingsley Properties lodged a Planning Application with Victor Harbor Council for a 272-home Land Lease Community.

“We worked collaboratively with Council for six months before lodging our application in November 2023. Today we received Planning Approval! I can’t express enough how impressed I am with the South Australian planning process to achieve an outcome such as this in such a short period,” Kingsley, who was in charge of its Halcyon Communities over-50s living division until he left in 2022, said on LinkedIn on Friday.

“Just the beginning.”

Kingsley, who paid Adelaide building company Hickinbotham $23.1 million for the 65ha site near Victor Harbor, just north of the McCracken Country Club, praised his team: Jensen Urban Design, URPS, DC8 Architects, TMK, Birdseye Studio, W & G, Alexander & Symonds and EBS.

Oceane at Victor Harbor, which overlooks the Southern Ocean, 82km south of Adelaide, will feature over 800 homes, including the lifestyle community.
