Living Choice Twin Waters features shark hunting on their doorstep

A 1.5 m 60 kg bullshark was caught by a neighbour in the canal in front of living choice Twin Waters retirement village this week.

Last Friday night he Mark Bowyer baited a shark hook with an ox heart and was woken the next morning to see the float being dragged up and down the canal. He got in his boat, chasing the float while the village residents watched on.

He said he wanted to demonstrate to the kids that jumped off the nearby bridge what was in the water. Even he was surprised commenting that now that he knows what actually is in the water is stand up paddle board technique will improve.
