New owner for “South Australia’s most exclusive retirement resort”
Developed by the family-owned Jurkovic Group and designed by Anthony Donato Architects, Aura comprises one-, two- and three-bedroom independent living apartments across four towers.
A high-end Adelaide retirement village has changed hands off-market, boosting the footprint of a major Not For Profit operator.
Colliers has confirmed the sale of Aura, a 131-apartment vertical village in Findon previously operated as Aura by Livewell Communities. The buyer is Adelaide-based Not For Profit Eldercare, which now has 15 retirement villages across South Australia.
Eldercare’s acquisition follows its purchase of Aveo’s Carisfield village in Seaton and The Braes in Reynella in August last year, further consolidating its presence in Adelaide’s west and south.
Developed by the family-owned Jurkovic Group and designed by Anthony Donato Architects, Aura comprises one-, two- and three-bedroom independent living apartments across four towers – Ruby, Diamond, Gold and Platinum.
Only one apartment remained unsold on the village’s website at the time of sale, with Jurkovic describing Aura as “South Australia’s most exclusive and luxurious retirement resort”.

Justin Hazell, National Director, Healthcare & Retirement Living at Colliers, said the built form and amenity set the project apart, with hotel-style facilities including a business centre and library, billiards room, craft and activities area, golf simulator, cinema/theatre, swimming pool, spa, wellness centre, hair and beauty salon, conference room and restaurant.
“Presenting as South Australia’s most exclusive and luxurious retirement resort, the asset is certain to take pride of place within Eldercare’s portfolio for many decades to come,” he said.
