With 101 homes in four stages occupied, the final stage of Aveo’s Sunset Palms retirement village in Palmview, Sunshine Coast, is now under construction.

Stage five of the village features 34 two- and three-bedroom independent living villas, with the first release of 18 homes now selling.

Aveo’s Sunset Palms Retirement Village Community Manager Alex DeCorso said the people calling Sunset Palms home are attracted to the community from near and far.

“Residents at Sunset Palms come from places all over Australia who want to embrace the Sunshine Coast for the lifestyle, or move closer to family,” Alex said.

“They have diverse life stories to share, love to bring their interests into the community and can always find a special occasion to celebrate. Although many residents have downsized from their family homes, they have expanded their
social lives, involvement in activities, and overall health and wellbeing."

Alex said the final stage of villas will complete the final chapter of the community.

This latest release is selling from $630,000 to $895,000 (for the first 18 villas as of March) and several of the new villas will be ready to move into by mid-2026.
