Fresh Hope Communities appoints new CEO
The welfare arm and Public Benevolent Institution entity of Churches of Christ in NSW and ACT has announced Ruth Jothy as the new Chief Executive Officer.
Ruth comes to Fresh Hope Communities from the ASX-listed funds management business Elanor Investors Group where she held the executive role of Head of Asset Management.
She replaces Dan Dwyer, the inaugural CEO of the organisation, who resigned and left in March 2025.
“The Board is excited about bringing Ruth’s people leadership, technical skills and experience in Property and Asset Management to lead Fresh Hope Communities’ executives and the wider organisation forward together,” Fresh Hope Communities said in a release.
“Ruth is deeply aligned with Fresh Hope Communities’ faith-based mission and cultural values of kindness, connection, integrity and optimism.”
Ruth said her experience with residential aged care has underscored the importance of the work achieved at Fresh Hope Communities, serving vulnerable people in their care.
“Our determination to create spaces that cultivate belonging and places that feel like home is a wonderful, contemporary vision threading through all we do, and as your new CEO, I’m truly inspired by it,” she said.
Fresh Hope Communities owns and operates nine retirement villages and six residential aged care homes.
