Glenview hires ex-Corumbene chief as new CEO

1 min read

Glenview Community Services has hired Damien Jacobs as its new CEO after a six-month search.

Mr Jacobs, who spent 12 years as CEO of Corumbene Care and has a background in tourism and hospitality, has “a strong focus on values, team work and respect and is very much a team-focused leader”, according to Glenview, and says working in aged care is “an absolute privilege”.

“It all comes back to the fundamentals of putting the client, customer or resident at the core of all that we do,” he said.

Mr Jacobs replaces acting CEO Kirsten Robertson, who took on the role temporarily after long-time CEO Lucy O’Flaherty resigned in May; Ms O’Flaherty had led the Tasmanian aged care provider for 10 years.
