After paying Aveo Group $9.4 million last December, the first eight people have moved into the newly refurbished former Aveo Freedom Clayfield, 6km northeast of Brisbane’s CBD.
The 37-unit complex has been refurbished and is intended to be used as long-term accommodation for older Queenslanders.
The Queensland Government also paid Aveo $10.6 million for the former Freedom aged care centre in the city of Toowoomba, QLD, and have leased the closed Redlands Bay retirement village, 35km southeast of Brisbane, from Palm Lake Care.
