Aged, home and community care platform AlayaCare has acquired Nightingale Software, strengthening its position across Australia and New Zealand’s aged care, home care and disability sectors.
Nightingale Software’s platform will continue to operate and staff will be retained, with services to be supported by AlayaCare’s technology, product roadmap and resources. The transaction is subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.
AlayaCare – an all-in-one platform with a local team – offers real-time data insights, personalised care tools and extensive configuration, backed by a multi-million-dollar annual R&D budget and AI solutions. The company says it now serves around 30% of the Australian home care market.
“What drew us to Nightingale was that their platform and values aligned with our own,” said AlayaCare CEO Adrian Schauer.
“By pairing AlayaCare’s innovation and AI technology with Nightingale’s platform and expertise in the disability space, we can deliver solutions that make care work easier and more fulfilling while making providers more efficient and successful.”
Nightingale CEO Sandy Forrest said: “We’re are looking forward to working closely with AlayaCare to explore new ways to improve care, use technology more effectively, and deliver even better outcomes. Our focus remains on supporting our clients and the people they care for.”
AlayaCare says the acquisition broadens its aged care and disability offering, helps address workforce constraints, and aims to improve client and provider experiences.
