Management consultants KPMG have released their eighth annual analysis of the Australian aged care market, including a ranking of Australia's top 25 home care providers.

Topping the list, which is ranked by market share of Home Care Package revenue, this year is Australian Unity, which acquired last year's number one home care provider, my Homecare Group, in March 2024.

For Profit self-managed home care provider HomeMade Support was the biggest mover on the list, entering the top 25 for the first time in FY24 at 17th. The operator recorded a 95% increase in revenue from $42 million to $83 million.

Five Good Friends recorded a 50% increase in revenue to $97.5 million, propelling the operator up four places from 19th in FY23 to 15th in FY24.
