Aged care worker charged with sexually assaulting seven aged care residents

A 47-year old former aged care worker, Tracey Salmon (pictured left), has been charged with nearly 50 offences after she allegedly sexually assaulted seven aged care residents at two Sydney aged care homes last year.

During an investigation, NSW Police seized Salmon's phone and found videos of alleged sexual assaults being carried out against the residents at aged care homes in Sydney's south west, where she had been employed.

Police also allege Salmon shared the videos with her partner, 54-year-old Troy Campbell (pictured right).

Police also found images of bestiality on Salmon's phone, which were not related to the aged care home.

Last Thursday, Salmon was charged at Silverwater Correctional Complex, 21km west of the Sydney CBD, where she was serving an 18-month sentence for spending $18,000 on a credit card stolen from an 89-year-old woman under her care.

Salmon was charged with four counts of aggravated sexual assault, 11 counts of aggravated sexual touching, two counts of sexual touching, 13 counts of record intimate image without consent, nine counts of distribute intimate image without consent, and four counts of possessing bestiality material.

She was refused bail to appear in Campbelltown Local Court on Monday 28 April 2025.

It is alleged Salmon committed and recorded the offences against five men and two women at the aged care facility between Sunday 4 August and Tuesday 27 August 2024.

Campbell was also arrested at his home in Heckenberg, 36km south west of the Sydney CBD.
