The speeches from the DCM Group's LEADERS SUMMIT 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Sydney on 19 and 20 March 2024 continue to be discussed.

The video of Group Homes Australia Founder and Executive Director Tamar Krebs and DCM Group CEO Chris Baynes is the most popular on The Weekly SOURCE's YouTube channel.

Mike Baird, outgoing CEO of HammondCare, taking up the theme of ‘Optimism: Dawning of the Silver Decade’, listed three reasons everyone in the room should be optimistic about. One he admitted was controversial. His opening tale had the audience in laughter.

One of the undoubted highlights of the first day was Grant Corderoy, Senior Partner at StewartBrown, who was a member of the Aged Care Taskforce. He explained why the recommendations are not going to hurt the wealthy.

Of massive importance to the delegates is the Draft Exposure of the new Aged Care Act, which will shape the sector for years to come.

Explaining it in detail, and where concerns should be focused, were MinterEllison's Penelope Eden, who leads the law firm ’s national Aged Care practice, and Deanna McMaster, who manages the safety, employment, and industrial relations risks across both private and public sector clients.

In addition, here is a pictorial special from the 2024 LEADERS SUMMIT.
