Ingenia Lifestyle land lease community sees home prices surge 60%
Ingenia Lifestyle is now celebrating the completion of the community, with the 300th home built. Three two-bedroom plus study homes are currently listed for sale, ranging from “over $880,000” to $960,000.
Ingenia Communities announced on 23 February 2021 that it had purchased Nature’s Edge, a partially completed lifestyle community in Forest Glen, between Buderim and Maroochydore on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
The land lease community originally comprised 181 homes developed over six years with extensive facilities by Phillip Gabel’s business Altusvista. The acquisition also included The Village Forest Glen (51 permanent homes) and the Forest Glen Holiday Resort, which formed part of an approved 68-home expansion of Nature’s Edge.

When the acquisition was announced in 2021, then-CEO Simon Owen said new homes in the last three stages were expected to sell for an average of $600,000, with resales ranging from $550,000 to over $700,000. The current listings suggest values have risen by around 60%.
Over the five years to June 2025, median house prices on the Sunshine Coast increased by an average of 13.2% per year, putting the value growth of Nature’s Edge homes almost on par with freestanding residential houses.
Ingenia Lifestyle hosted a celebration at the $10 million clubhouse and wellness centre, Nature’s Retreat, to mark the community’s completion.

“Nature’s Edge represents the very best of what Ingenia strives to create – a place where residents can enjoy connection, wellbeing and a sense of belonging in a beautiful setting,” Head of Development Queensland, Adam Forrester, said.
Ingenia Lifestyle partnered with construction partners Ezi Build Group on the homes and McNab on the clubhouse to bring the project vision to life.
