Stockland Halcyon Victoria is rolling out three new clubhouses across the state, with General Manager James Westh confirming two have opened and another is imminent.

“We were a very well known brand in Queensland and our plan was to bring the secret herbs and spices from 20 years of Halcyon knowledge, add the latest innovations, and see it in our clubhouses in Victoria,” James said.

Just before Christmas, two Victorian clubhouses celebrated their opening with the third set to open next month.

The sites include:

  • A $14 million clubhouse at Stockland Halcyon Evergreen, Clyde, 48km southeast of Melbourne’s CBD, which opens officially on Saturday, 7 February.

“Health and wellbeing is such a priority for our homeowners. They are active, whether still working or into their retirement. They demand a high level of health and wellbeing,” said James.

“Traditionally we had a lot more social zones, but now it's 50/50. We’re building bigger gyms with more interactive elements. At Jardin, we’ve got a huge projector that does virtual gym classes, which is pretty cool. You don’t rely on an individual and you can stream different classes from wherever. The gym equipment is all very high tech.

“The pool is a major drawcard. We are designing them in Victoria as not just a place to go and swim, but a place to hang out. We always have an indoor pool to protect from the cold elements and also some of the heat, but just making sure we’ve got the lounge chairs in there that it feels like a nice place to go, swim and stay a while.”

Jardin’s clubhouse, designed by ClarkeHopkinsClarke, features a cinema, indoor pool, outdoor spa, lawn bowls green and three pickleball courts.

Highlands’ clubhouse, now officially named The Lodge, is designed around:

  • The Sanctuary – for relaxation and wellness, featuring a resort-style pool, sauna, gym and yoga studio, library, and salon and treatment rooms.
  • The Hub – social heart of the Clubhouse, complete with a gold-class style cinema, golf simulator, games area, kitchen, library, and bar.
  • The Pavilion – creative space for arts and crafts, sewing, community gardens for those with a green thumb, and a covered outdoor kitchen with barbeques and pizza oven.
  • Sports – homeowners can also enjoy outdoor amenities including a bowling green and two pickleball courts.

Evergreen’s clubhouse, built by Jardon Group, includes a library, social dining and recreational spaces, BBQ area complete with a pizza oven and firepit, and a health and wellness precinct.

The wellness precinct features an indoor pool, outdoor spa, sauna, yoga deck, a gym, three pickleball courts, a half-sized bowling green, sports pavilion, vegetable garden and greenhouse.
