Opinion: the days of the all-male board in aged care are numbered

The release of 2022-23 data from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) has revealed that female Board Chairs are still a rarity in the aged care space, despite its female-dominated workforce.

According to the Residential Care section, women accounted for 42% of Board members while men made up 58%. 30% of Board Chairs were women.
