John Wood's Providence Lifestyle to lodge DAs for two new land lease communities in WA

Alongside partners John Green, James Turnbull and Brad Denison, the manufactured home pioneer is pushing ahead with its rapid rollout across Western Australia.

With Providence Lifestyle's first land lease venture, Piara Waters, 20km southeast of Perth, on course to built out in 12 months, John has told The Weekly SOURCE: "Demand is stronger than we can supply."

The developer also has four other communities in varying stages of development:

  • Henley Brook, a 172-home community, 26km northeast of the Perth CBD, that is now selling stage 5 and has an application before the local Swan Council to extend the community;
  • the newly re-named Waterbrook, a 146-home community, 25km southeast in the Perth Foothills, that will commence civil works for Stage 1 in October;
  • Mandurah, 71km south of Perth, which has completed internal civil works for Stages 1 and 2 completed; and
  • Wattle Grove, 13km east of the Perth CBD, which has released Stages 1 and 2.

"The Haynes project has a beautiful landscaped brook running through the middle of the resort and sounded like a much more appealing address for homeowners to call it Waterbrook," he said.

Providence Lifestyle also has a further four land lease communities in development or the purchase process.

"Two projects north of the (Swan) river - one to submit a DA next month and the other in November, both of which we haven't announced to the consumer market," John said.

"One in the Vasse/Busselton area which will not be submitted for DA till November - we haven't announced to the market, and one in the Kelmscott area we won't lodge until February."

Its Oceanside Lifestyle Resort, located in Perth's northern coastal corridor, will also have its location released on 31 August when the land purchase is settled.
