LDK founder and director Paul Browne and CEO Byron Cannon only turned the sod to signify the start of construction for their Amberfield village on 5.4ha of land on the edge of Weston, Canberra, in February.
After six months Amberfield’s deposits/sales are:
- Stage 1 (52 villas) sold out with a wait list;
- 60 apartments in Stage 2 released in May and 51 sold by 30 June;
- Over 250 qualified leads for future releases.
“The demand is very strong. We have not spent any money on above the line advertising for the above sales. They have all come through our database and referrals from (our ACT village) Greenway Views,” Byron said.
Stage 1 will be complete in the second quarter of CY24, with Stage 2 complete towards the end of 2024.
