Victorian resort park operator Lifestyle Communities has reported an average of 6 home sales per month for 12 months from its Cranbourne village. Their homes are priced from $240,000 to $340,000. They face plenty of competition around them with 11 retirement villages listed on villages.com.au for the local area, including the stellar sales group Blue Hills with two big villages just down the road. David Morrison of Blue Hills reports he is consistently attracting two new ILU sales per month for Blue Hills Rise his new village which compares with a national average of 0.8 of one ILU per month, according to the banks. His prices range from $395,000 to $565,000. He says he has to draw his market from outside the area.
In four years Lifestyle Communities has built 1,226 homes across seven locations. This year they delivered a net profit after tax of $6 million. (CEO James Kelly pictured).
