Despite the widely held view that Manchester Unity – with ex-NSW Liberal leader John Brogden at the helm – placed its small New South Wales village and care facilities on the market too late to achieve top dollar, a sale is rumoured to have been achieved and quite close to the asking price. The buyer is thought to be a Victorian operator that wants to build its presence in New South Wales.
