Mark Butler has been appointed as the new Minister for Mental Health & Ageing.
Mark Butler has been in Federal Parliament since 2007, representing the electorate of Port Adelaide and in 2009, Mark was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Health. In his capacity as Parliamentary Secretary for Health, Mark had direct portfolio responsibility for a number of Health agencies including the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ).
