More than a name change for RSL LifeCare retirement village
St Quentin Place is the new name for the Not For Profit’s former Bullecourt Retirement Village in Kaleen, a suburb in the Belconnen district of Canberra.
The change marks Stage Two of RSL LifeCare’s $35 million expansion of the village with an additional 72 one, two and three-bedroom apartments and 11 three-bedroom two-storey townhouses planned for the site.
The Weekly SOURCE reported in March last year that RSL LifeCare had been forced to resubmit a smaller redevelopment after opposition to a larger expansion.
The expansion will also include a new Community Centre, as well as landscaped gardens, a barbecue terrace, outdoor seating, green spaces and raised garden beds.
Jonathan Tan, Sales and Operations Lead at One Fell Swoop, is marketing and managing the building of the village.
RSL LifeCare provides services across home care, retirement living, residential care and veteran services in NSW, ACT and QLD.
