New retirement village opens in the Goldfields (WA)

The State Government has $9.8M in the 49-unit Pringle Village in Kalgoorlie-Boulder in regional WA (593 kilometres west of Perth) to be operated by the small Not For Profit, Goldfields Masonic Homes.

As we reported here in 2018, the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder invested $1 million in the project.

The project was originally put forward as a solution to high demand for independent retirement living options in the region, which is home to Australia’s largest gold mines.

Respect enters QLD with acquisition of seven BlueCare aged care homes and four co-located retirement villages

The Not For Profit, which specialises in acquiring rural and regional care home, announced this morning it will take ownership of several sites from the health and community arm of UnitingCare Queensland.
