Richard de Haast (pictured top) has never been one to follow the industry playbook. The CEO of Not For Profit provider Scalabrini, who once ran New Zealand retirement giant Metlifecare, is now spearheading the next evolution of aged care and retirement living in Australia.

Harbourside, a $60 million redevelopment on Sydney’s Parramatta River, has just been approved in record time – 10 months – by the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.
