Prior to the Summit the Minister for Ageing, Justine Elliot, announced Noeline Brown as our
new Ambassador for Ageing. This is a position the ageing industry has been asking for for a
long time, citing Jeff Kennett as the strong style of advocate that is desired, someone who
will get ageing as a topic of discussion into the media and on to the kitchen table. The rumble
however is that, while respected, Ms Brown may not be in that same advocacy league as a
Kennett.
