It is interesting to see that RSL QLD and RSL NSW continue to cross paths. RSL QLD has been building new villages and care faculties as far south as the Hunter Valley. RSL LifeCare (NSW) is marching north, adding to its Ballina village, with Richmond Valley Council approving the sale of 10 hectares of Evans Head aerodrome to RSL LifeCare for a nursing home and retirement village. RSL LifeCare CEO, Ron Thompson said the village would have 157 retirement villas, a 120-bed nursing home and 40-bed supported living accommodation.
