Hall & Prior’s White Oak home care expands Perth footprint with Care Net acquisition

Hall & Prior-owned White Oak Home Care Services has boosted its Perth presence, acquiring fellow family-owned provider Care Net in a deal that will see the combined operation support around 1,300 clients across the metropolitan area.

White Oak, founded by Mary Lonergan and now led by her daughter Treasa, was acquired by Hall & Prior in 2016. Care Net, owned by Registered Nurse Suzi Bridge, has built a strong reputation for personalised, client-focused care over more than two decades.

The move adds Care Net’s approximately 90 clients – mostly in Perth’s western suburbs – to White Oak’s community care business, which offers nursing, domestic and allied health support.

Treasa said the decision was about values as much as scale.

“This partnership is a natural fit for both organisations. This is more than an integration – it’s a continuation of a long-standing friendship and shared values. We’re honoured to carry forward Care Net’s legacy while ensuring clients and staff experience a smooth and supportive transition.”

Suzi approached Treasa directly about the sale, citing her wish to retire and to see the business placed in trusted hands.

“I couldn’t think of a better fit than White Oak,” she stated. “Their family values and care philosophy align perfectly with ours and I know our clients and staff will be in the very best hands.”

There will be no changes to existing services, schedules or staff roles. Both organisations say the priority is a seamless transition for clients.

Established in 1992 by Michael Hall and Graeme Prior, Hall & Prior operates 39 homes, employs more than 4,000 staff, and also runs home care services in New South Wales.
