The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has revealed that in 2008-09 there were 3.4 million people living in Australia over the age of 45 years. Of that group 38% indicated that they didnt know how old they would be when they retire and for those that did know, 46% intended to retire in the age range of 65-69 years.
