Goodwin opens new $22M co-located village and aged care in Canberra

The ACT Not For Profit has officially opened the final stage of 57 apartments and eight two-storey townhouses at The Central development in Crace.

The interiors by Gilmore Interior Design and design by AMC Architecture were informed by the provider’s 60 years in aged care, according to Goodwin CEO Sue Levy.

“Developing in the greenfield area of Crace meant we could fill a need for retirement living options in the Gungahlin area,” she said. “Many of our residents have moved to be near grandchildren in the vicinity.”

Goodwin is one of the quiet achievers of the sector, with villages and aged care facilities in Ainslie, Monash and Farrer.
