Leading home care technology company, AlayaCare is helping frontline aged care workers and their residents stay healthy and connected during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a month-long free trial of its video conferencing tool.

Its recently updated virtual care system will enable providers to give seamless home care consultations online – including electronic COVID-19 screening. These virtual consults can replace in-person home visits, which put staff and patients at risk.

It is the first company of its kind that can offer such a service, seamlessly.

“As COVID-19 consumes our acute-care settings for the foreseeable future, the pressure on health systems to care for people in their homes will be overwhelming,” said AlayaCare CEO, Adrian Schauer.
