The new stage at its Tanah Merah community, 29km from Brisbane’s CBD, will feature 62 new private aged care units and new facilities including a memory support unit and sensory garden.

Aveo acquired Freedom Aged Care for $215 million in 2016 and has since been expanding the model, which gives residents access to 24 hours a day nursing care without the need to move into an aged care home, across its 91 communities.

One- and two-bedroom units in the new stage are priced from $425,000.
