Aveo’s Freedom Aged Care to add assisted living to its Tasmanian village

The provider is expanding its private aged care model within its retirement villages, lodging an application to build 45 single-storey one-bedroom independent living apartments designed by Mj Architecture at its Launceston village in Mowbray.

Formerly Mowbray Links, the site is currently home to 24 villas, four units and 30 serviced apartments.

The Freedom Aged Care model is designed to give residents access to 24 hours a day nursing care without the need to move into an aged care home.
