Beachmere Sands, 50 kilometres north of Brisbane, is emerging as Australias largest Over 55s development covering 300 acres and worth over $1 billion. Last month it was awarded two HIA (Housing Industry Association) awards. The first was 2007 Winner: Villa Development of the Year (recognising quality medium density residential projects) and 2007 Winner: Special Purpose Housing of the Year (housing designed and built to meet the needs of Over 55s retirees).
Ageing Australia welcomes Quality Commission’s report on liquidity ratios
Ageing Australia has welcomed the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC)’s review of proposed Liquidity Standards due to come in with the aged care reforms in November, saying the original proposal could have threatened investment in the ageing sector.
