Residents and their families claim they were given no notice of the decision to close Benetas Hurlingham, in up market Brighton East (Melbourne). The 60 bed high care facility, owned by Anglican Aged Care Services, is quoted as needing significant maintenance and renovation. All residents will be placed before the actual closure. No plans for the site have been made.
