Six years after RSL Care (now branded Bolton Clarke) purchased the troubled Breezes Mackay retirement village from the Becton/Retirement Alliance partnership, the village now has 88 homes built and sold, with 107 sites still available to build.

Bolton Clarke has now announced an innovative 72 suite aged care hub designed by Marchese Partners.

It will comprise of four ‘houses’ each with 18 suites containing a bed, lounge, desk and private terrace.

The complex has been specifically designed for residents with cognitive impairment, especially around vision and hearing. It will address decreased sensitivity to contrast, depth of field, gradual loss of blue/violet in the colour spectrum and increasing requirement for light.
