The Chinese businesswoman Lila Chan acquired the former Kenmore Hospital in Goulburn - halfway between Sydney and Canberra - over two years ago to create a new aged care educational facilities for Chinese students from Sichuan University. She has renovated and restored the hospital, including the heritage buildings and has now signed a deal with TAFE Illawarra (Wollongong) to support the course work. Lila Chan points out that China sends currently send students to Canada and America for aged care training she plans for Australia to be a major educational resource.
