The long-serving CEO (pictured above with his farewell gift) stepped down last week after more than 25 years in the role where he became highly regarded across the sector for his leadership, particularly in relation to dementia care.

A member of the Aged Care Sector Committee and the Advisory Council to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, Dr Judd also saw the expansion of the Christian Not For Profit into one of Australia’s most innovative health and aged care providers with aged care homes, sub-acute hospitals and community services in NSW, Victoria and Queensland.

“Since he became Chief Executive in 1995, HammondCare has grown from serving 250 clients with an annual revenue of $8 million, to caring for more than 25,000 people, with 2018-19 revenue of more than $300 million,” HammondCare Board Chair, John Kightley said.

Dr Judd’s replacement is former NSW Premier Mike Baird who began at HammondCare this week.
