The RVA is planning a very different annual conference this year, focussing on the need for bold moves by the sector to re-kick start sales. Part of the strategy is to showcase other organisations and individuals that have materially changed their businesses. TVs masterchef George Calombaris is a keynote speaker on how he has built six highly successful restaurants in Melbourne during the post GFC years and while under the age of 35. Conference delegates will also have the opportunity to tour the Hilton Hotels back office and operations to understand how they operate a 24/7 five star product.
